Kimberly Hiatt Nurse Review
Nurse Kimberly Hiatt had made a mistake and gave a baby named Kaia Zautner an overdose of medication. This happened on September 14, 2010. Kaia was only eight-month-old when this happened. She was a patient at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
After this had happened it was the end of the world as Nurse Kimberly Hiatt had know it. She was fired for the only mistake she had done in her 24 years of her medical career.
I can relate to this story because she was 50 years old when she committed suicide after accidentally giving a baby an fatal overdose of medication. She made a mistake of giving 1.4 grams of calcium chloride instead of 140 milligrams of the medication to baby Kaia.
I am 50 years old and if I had done this I would have ended my world too! I would not be able to live knowing I had killed a baby even if it was an accident.
On April 3, she was so devastated that all of this had happened to her that she committed suicide.
What made this worse for Nurse Hiatt is the parents did not pres any charges because they knew that their baby girl had had severe heart problems and she had been in and out of the Seattle Children’s Hospital since birth.
I am a mom of two and this would have ended the world for me if I had been told that my baby was killed by accident. I would have kept on going, but I would not have looked at the world the same after this had happened. The nurse had came attached to the baby and this is why she was devastated that this had happened.
Look at her in the photo, she looked like a very pleasant person to know. It's a shame she ended her life at a young age. Yes, I consider 50 to still be young. I'm hoping, I I'll be a 100!
The original story is on Newsoxy and was published by Rob Adams on June 27, 2011. They are the photo source too.

No keys and no help in sight? Here's how to get your car moving again.
To complete this How-To you will need:
Proof of ownership of the vehicle
A hammer
A flat-head screwdriver
A Phillips-head screwdriver
Your car's manual
Insulated gloves
Wire cutters and strippers
Warning: Hot-wiring a car is dangerous and is likely to damage your vehicle. Never hot-wire anyone's car but yours and be prepared to show your proof of ownership.
Step 1: Try a screwdriver
Pound a flat-head screwdriver into the ignition and turn it like a key. This will ruin the ignition cylinder, but it's effective on many cars manufactured before the mid '90s.
Step 2: Remove the ignition cover
If the car doesn't start, pull the screwdriver out of the ignition and remove the screws in the panels on the top and bottom of the steering column. Next, use the flat-head screwdriver to pry off the plastic panels and expose the ignition cylinder and the wires running to it. Be gentle to minimize damage to the steering column.
Step 3: Identify the battery and starter wires
Identify the battery and starter wires. Generally the two red wires handle the car's power, and the one or two brown wires connect to the starter. Consult your car's manual to learn its specific wire color code.
Step 4: Connect the power wires
Put on the gloves, and use the cutters to cut the power wires from the cylinder. Then, strip the ends and connect them by twisting them together to provide power to the lights, radio, and other electrical systems.
Step 5: Connect the starter wires
Cut the starter wires from the cylinder and strip the ends. Be extremely careful not to touch the exposed ends as they carry a powerful live current and will shock you. Touch them together, and as soon as the car has started, pull them apart and tape the ends to avoid getting shocked while driving.
Tip: If the car has only has one starter wire, touch it to the exposed part of the connected power wires to start the car.
Step 6: Deal with additional security
Deal with additional security. In some cars the steering-wheel lock's bolt can be pried open by jamming a screwdriver between the top of the steering column and the steering wheel.
Tip: Newer cars have complex wheel locks and electronic key systems that are nearly impossible to circumvent without tools and in-depth knowledge.
Step 7: Turn the car off
Turn the car off by separating the power wires from each other. Now it's time to find that extra set of keys and head to the repair shop, pronto.

How To Pick A Door Lock With A Bobby Pin
Apply minimum torque to the tension wrench, insert the bobby pin into the keyway, make use of a vibrating motion, or scrubbing over the pins, after a few seconds, try to apply greater force to the tension wrench to turn the plug. If the pins do not set after several seconds, release the tension wrench and do it again. To make a feeler pick with a bobby pin , please check this video below

Locked yourself out of the house? Most common pin and tumbler locks can be picked with a little luck and finesse—so before you call a locksmith, try this.
To complete this How-To you will need:
A paperclip or safety pin
A tension wrench (sometimes called a torque wrench)
A second paperclip
Warning: Only pick your own locks—or you could wind up in a lot of trouble.
Step 1: Get a paperclip
Get a paperclip or safety pin and bend it straight. Now make a slight upwards bend at the very end.
Tip: You can buy a professional lock pick set at a hardware store. There is a basic size intended for American locks.
Step 2: Insert the wrench
Insert your wrench into the lower part of the keyhole—that is, the side opposite the one where the key's teeth would go in.
Step 3: Determine direction
Figure out which way the lock needs to be turned to open by turning the wrench clockwise and then counterclockwise. You'll feel which way has more give.
Step 4: Turn the lock
Turn the lock the correct way with the wrench, putting slight pressure on it. Hold the wrench in place.
Step 5: Insert the paperclip
While keeping pressure on the lock, insert the end of the paperclip into the top part of the keyhole.
Step 6: Feel for pins
Feel around the keyhole with the paperclip until you locate the pins. If you're picking a common door lock, there will most likely be at least five of them in a row.
Tip: Before you start, many experts suggest "raking" the lock. Straighten your second paperclip, put a few bends at the wire's end, and—with no pressure on your wrench—shove it to the back of the lock. Now pull it out quickly, pressing against the top of the lock while gently turning your wrench. You might just set a pin or two that way.
Step 7: Push up
Now for the actual "picking." One at a time, push each pin up with the paperclip. Try to feel for the moment when the pin reaches its "unlocked" position. You should feel a slight give—or even hear a faint click.
Tip: Start with the pin furthest away from you—then move on to the next.
Step 8: Increase the pressure
As you go, apply slightly more pressure with the wrench until you have all the pins lifted up.
Step 9: Turn the wrench
Now turn the wrench fully. Voila! The lock will pop open.

How To Survive Without Air-Conditioning
These tips work!!!
Check out Howcast for other do-it-yourself videos from SheriffThompson and more videos in the Energy and Resource Conservation category.
No AC? Before you die of heatstroke, try these cool tricks.
To complete this How-To you will need:
A fan
Ice
Linen sheets
Spicy food
Wristbands
A bandanna
A window exhaust fan
Step 1: Make a half-assed air-conditioner
Mimic the cooling effects of AC by putting a heaping bowl of ice in front of a fan. Hey, a half-assed air-conditioner is better than no air-conditioner.
Step 2: Use linen sheets
Use linen sheets, which are twice as cool as cotton, the next best choice.
Tip: Leave the bed unmade in the summer. Putting a heavy spread on it will only trap heat and prevent the sheets from airing out.
Step 3: Eat spicy food
Eat spicy foods. They will make you sweat, which is your body's way of cooling you down.
Step 4: Take warm baths or shower
Take warm baths or showers, which will trigger your body to cool off. If you take a cold one, the opposite will happen, and you'll end up hotter than before you bathed.
Step 5: Wear cold wet wristbands
Wear wristbands that have been dunked in ice water, and tie a cold, wet bandanna around your neck. Keeping those areas chilled will cool off your entire body.
Step 6: Stay hydrated
Stay hydrated by drinking a lot of cool water. Don't drink the water too cold, or your body will go into overdrive trying to warm you up.
Step 7: Chill your bed linens
Stick your bed linens in the freezer for a few hours before bedtime. At the very least, chill your pillowcases.
Step 8: Suck hot air out, blow cold air in
Suck hot air out and blow cold air in by putting an exhaust fan in one window, facing out, and closing all the other windows except the ones in the room in which you're sleeping.
Step 9: Wear a wet T-shirt to bed
Soak a T-shirt in ice water, wring it out, and wear it to bed. You can also wet your hair. Hey, you may be a little damp, but at least you're cool.

How to Store Your Winter Clothes And Shoes
Make sure your winter wardrobe survives the summer by putting it away properly.
To complete this How-To you will need:
Acid-free tissue paper
Plastic trash bags, plastic boxes with mesh-type lids, or new cardboard boxes
Hangers with clips
A soft cotton cloth or shoe brush
Saddle soap
Leather conditioner
Suede cleaner
Fabric shoe bags
Old newspapers or tissue paper
A cool, dry storage space
Muslin sachet sacks or handkerchiefs
Dried lavender or cotton balls soaked in lavender oil
Wooden, thick plastic, or padded hangers
Plastic freezer bags (optional)
Step 1: Launder everything
Wash or dry-clean everything before putting it away. Insects feed on food and perspiration stains, even ones you can't see. And oxidation can turn an invisible stain into an unsightly yellow blotch.
Tip: Don't starch anything you iron—bugs like to munch on that, too.
Step 2: Remove dry-cleaning bags
Before storing dry-cleaned items, remove the plastic and air them out. Dry-cleaning bags can trap moisture inside, leading to mildew stains.
Step 3: Fold your sweaters
Fold your sweaters in acid-free tissue paper, which you can find online or in good stationery stores. Then store them in a heavy-duty plastic trash bag, a plastic box with a mesh-type lid, or in a new cardboard carton.
Tip: If you have an expensive cashmere sweater, put it in a plastic bag and stick it in your freezer for a few days. The cold will kill any moths and their larvae.
Step 4: Hang pants and skirts
Hang pants and skirts on hangers with clips. Leaving them folded over a hanger can leave a permanent mark.
Step 5: Buff your boots
Clean your shoes and boots. For leather, brush away dirt with a cotton cloth or shoe brush, polish them with saddle soap, and apply leather conditioner. For suede, use cleaning tools and products made specifically for that material.
Tip: Check shoes before storing them to see if any need new tips, soles, or heels. It will save you the effort in the spring.
Step 6: Stuff and stash
Store footwear in cardboard boxes or fabric shoe bags. Stuff the boots with old newspapers or plain tissue paper so they'll retain their shape.
Tip: Never store leather shoes in plastic bags; they may mildew.
Step 7: Find a cool, dry place
Store clothes in a cool, dry place—not the attic or basement. Or ask your dry cleaner about seasonal storage; it's usually offered for a nominal fee.
Step 8: Make your own moth chasers
Instead of using mothballs, which are toxic, make natural moth repellants by filling muslin sachet sacks with dried lavender. Or soak some cotton balls in lavender oil, put them in the bags, and stick them in closets and drawers.
Step 9: Use heavy hangers
Hang coats and jackets on wooden, thick plastic, or padded hangers. Leaving them on flimsy wire hangers all summer can cause them to become misshapen.

How to Clean Your Coffee Maker
Make your coffee maker sparkle with these easy tips.
To complete this How-To you will need:
A drip coffee maker
White vinegar
Ice cubes
Table salt or rock salt
Dishwasher detergent
A dish brush
Baking soda
Alka-Seltzer tablets
Denture tablets
A fresh lemon
Step 1: Clean the machine
Clean the inside of your coffee maker by running a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water though the machine. Do two runs with water afterward to remove the vinegar.
Tip: You can substitute a half dozen Alka-Seltzer or denture tablets, a quarter of a cup of baking soda, or the juice of a fresh lemon for the vinegar.
Step 2: Get ice and salt
To get your carafe looking like new, try this barista trick. Toss a handful of ice cubes and a couple of teaspoons of salt—rock or table—into the carafe.
Step 3: Swish vigorously
Swish vigorously for a minute or two.
Step 4: Rinse thoroughly
Rinse thoroughly.
Tip: If you have a stainless-steel carafe, fill it with boiling water, add a few tablespoonfuls of powdered dishwasher detergent, let it sit overnight, then swish with a dish brush and rinse.
Step 5: Fill with water and baking soda
To get rid of any lingering vinegar smell in the carafe, fill it with warm water, add a teaspoon of baking soda, let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse well. You're ready for a delicious cup of coffee!

Creating Your Future
The questions of life may call to you. You may wonder about your purpose. You may feel out of place, disconnected, just a bit out of sync. You may want to find clarity; to find the stillness in your mind. That elusive quality where time loses all meaning. You may not even know what it is that you seek but you sit there in your skin and you know something is making you uncomfortable.
Well, I'm here to tell you that it's okay. It's not unusual or abnormal. The bigger questions of life and the role you want to play in that are great questions! Important questions! To not ask them and seek your own answers would resign you to an existence of numbness and one day, possibly regret. But it doesn't have to be that way. It's never too late and there is no deadline.
The journey itself can be a tremendous reward. And don't be fooled! The pursuit of worthy goals and self-discovery is not easy. There will be plenty of tough times, inner soul searching, periods of enormous movement and change, periods of stagnation and possibly even despair. There will be times when you think you have found that groove you've always been looking for and then there will be times when you feel as though you haven't a hope in the world of finding your place. This is normal.
Everyone who experiences life will encounter variations of questions pertaining to their values that will challenge them at crossroads in life. Sometimes we heed these inner callings but often times, external forces to our sense of security in the world will push these inner callings deep into the mud. Instead we are fearful of change or to focused on the negatives or "what if" scenarios. So we play it safe and ignore our inner callings.
We're all looking for "that career" that will reward us in the way we need to be rewarded. For some it may be money. For others it may be prestige, recognition and yet someone else it is just the fact they get to "do what they love doing." Everyone will have a unique journey to reach their discovery. The journey will be made intentionally or unintentionally. It will be confused and painful or it can be enlightened by your own self-awareness. Don't get so focused on the goal that you don't get the full experience of the journey. The journey is so critical.
During the journey your experiences will offer you with so many valuable clues about yourself. Who you are. What makes you thrive. What puts you to sleep. The kind of people you like to work with. The environments you prefer. All of these experiences and many many more specific pieces relevant to you, your profession, passion, skills, and personality. All of them can be incorporated into your goal.
You, your life, your values, and beliefs, and many other things, will change. So keep dreaming, keep looking at the goal. But do so with the knowledge and understanding of your journey. Implement adjustments to your navigation system towards your goal if it changes. The experiences of your life and the decisions and their consequences will teach you so much. Allow yourself to take that journey, without knowing when it will end nor where it will take you. Get comfortable with not knowing. Keep seeking. Don't be afraid to take that next step. This is the very thing I too have to challenge myself on every day.

After the video has played please press the like button and share the video so other blogger bloggers can know this information on how to get to the HTML on the old dashboard. The will appreciate you for the information.
P.S. Don't get me wrong, I like the new blogger dashboard because it's so clean and bright. For the most part it's easy to work with. It's just blogger has to incorporate the HTML into the new dashboard.
Here is the link for you to get to my new blog in the video. Free Affiliate Marketing Training For Newbies.
